Giftry Wish List & Registry App Reviews

I came across this app and downloaded it because I hate picking out gifts. Its the worst trying to impress my wife. The app helps "discover" gift ideas and sort through items you like and dont like. Adding to Giftry keeps the running list (a registry) of items you want for yourself and friends. Already have a huge Giftry going. Even sends an email to friends, if you want it to, to let them know you want to give them a gift. Then they can give you some ideas by making a Giftry. Love it.

The layout and usefulness of this app is spot on. The only real problem is a pretty big one: When you buy a gift off of someones list, it doesnt remove it or mark it as purchased for anyone else on the list. There needs to be a way to say "I bought this gift for this person" via a symbol or just removing it from the list, but keep it visible to the person who created the list so they arent aware it was purchased. Fix that and this is a 5 star app! Thanks for what it does so far!

I really love this app! I never use Pinterest anymore for my gift lists. Its so great that I can add items from anywhere. Sometimes I just let my kids scan barcodes when we are in the store to create their Christmas wish list.

Downloaded this app was super excited by the concept and it worked great...for the first five minutes. Now it wont add anything even though it says it has and Ive unloaded and reinstalled multiple times. Ill check back in hopes they will fix it. Tons of potential here.

This app is great, but it crashes 95% of the time. Updates and everything but crashing still continues

Easy to keep gift ideas and collaborate, but crashes way too much. I cant do basically anything.

I thought it would be a good app. But every time you click something it closes out the app. Horrible.

I cant add friends which renders the app useless. Too many bugs and crashes.

Was pretty good before the last update. Now it crashes whenever I try to do anything other thank view a list. Please fix!!!

After I updated this app, it forces me out of it every time I try to "explore gift ideas." I loved this app before it started to not work. -_-

I like the concept & the ability to add to a wish list from websites. When I tap "Explore Gift Ideas", the app crashes every time.

I love being able to shop for family members by looking at their giftry lists. However, maybe add a feature where when another person buys an item off someones list it shows it as bought so no one else will buy the same thing but also make it so that it doesnt show the person that the list belongs to that you bought the item.

I love this app. The best gift list app available. At first it looked like all wish lists were public. But only your main list is public. The lists you create are private. Perfect.

The app has several ‘flaws which limits its functionality and makes it frustrating to use. It will frequently not capture or collect items from the web. At time when it does, there are often errors. This is most typically the price will be listed incorrectly, so an item listed as 21.95 online will be shown as 2195, or the photo will not be shown. Another issue is if multiple prices are shown for a product, such as multiple purchasing selections (single vs multiple items, color) there is no way in the app to edit its “choice” to show the correct information. If you self enter the information by taking a picture, there are no fields to enter any information for the product other than name, price and location. Here, a preference or priority section would be helpful. An edit function or some manner in which personal information for the products can be entered (so you can list preferences, size, level of need, etc…) would improve this app and its utility significantly. My wife unfortunately opted to use this for Christmas and I am regretting her choice.

This app is awesome!! By far the easiest way to share wish lists with family and organize my own ideas of what to buy and for who. I wouldve given this app 5 stars if it had one change. •There needs to be a "note" option for each item, that way sizes colors or other preferences can be noted.• other than that, no changes!!
